Pork and cheddar sausage and cheese in puff pastry

Ingredients
- 1 package (375 g) Lafleur Pure Pork Sausage
- 150 g pizza cheese mix
- 250 g store-bought puff pastry
- All-purpose flour
- 1 egg, beaten with a small quantity of milk (glaze)
Preparation
- Cook sausages according to instructions on packaging, sponge off fat from sausages with paper towel and set aside. (Do not overcook.)
- Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C).
- Cut puff pastry into a square of the sausage length. Brush each paste square with glaze.
- Place equal amounts of cheese, diagonally, at the center of each square. Add one sausage on the cheese and close the paste on the sausage. Insert a toothpick so the paste does not open while cooking.
- Place on parchment paper covered baking sheet and brush each roll with glaze. Cook in oven until dough is browned.
- Use two sausages per serving and serve with your choice of vegetables or with a salad and dressing.
