Leftovers can be inspiring!

6 February 2017

When you’re having the whole family over, you can easily have eyes bigger than your stomach, but when you’ve extra, you’ve got potential!  Here are three leftover ideas that are sure to please the entire family.

Too much leftover bacon after family brunch?

Enhance your burgers by adding crumbled bacon to the patties. The whole gang will love ‘em and a new classic is born.

Or the opposite, not enough bacon?

Cover a baking sheet with aluminum foil and dry out a few slices of shaved ham at 150°C/300°F for about 40 minutes. Ta-da!

Extra fresh sausages?

Use them up in this addictive breakfast treat! Remove the meat from the casings, and cook in a pan. Add scrambled eggs and roll it all up in pita bread for amazing breakfast burritos! It could become your go-to Sunday breakfast, who knows?

Leftovers do not have to be boring! 😉
