Official Rules

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

1. RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. The « Mon équipe, c’est chez nous» Contest (the “Contest“) is sponsored by Olymel S.E.C. (the “Contest Organizer“). The Contest will run from June 6th, 2022, at 12:00:00 am Eastern Standard Time (”EST”) until July 17th, 2022, at 11:59:59 pm EST (the “Contest Period“). The three (3) winners will be announced on July 18th.

2. ELIGIBILITY

2.1 The Contest is open to all residents of Quebec who have reached the age of majority at the time of their participation. Employees, representatives and agents of the Contest Organizer, any company, corporation, trust or other legal entity controlled by or affiliated with it, the Contest Organizer’s advertising and promotional agencies, equipment suppliers and services related to this Contest, as well as their immediate family members (brothers, sisters, children, father, mother), their legal or common-law spouses and all persons with whom these employees, representatives and agents are domiciled are not eligible.

2.2 By entering the Contest, entrants fully and unconditionally accept these Contest Rules, Terms and Conditions (collectively, the “Rules“), as well as the decisions of the Contest Organizer, which are final and binding on all entrants for questions related to the Contest. The words “you,” “your,” and “entrant” as used herein refer to the person entering the Contest. To win a prize, you must comply with all the requirements set out in these Rules.

3. HOW TO ENTER

3. Registration. To participate, entrants must follow these steps:

3.1 Go to the Lafleur website, contest section.

3.2 Complete all required fields of the form.

3.3 The draw will be made randomly across all entries.

4. REGISTRATION LIMITS

4.1 Participants must respect the following limits. Failure to comply with these limits may result in disqualification of entrants.

a) Limit of one email address per person / form;

b) The team can be registered more than once, but via a different email address;

5. PRICE

5.1 The three (3) prizes offered (the “prizes”), with a maximum total value of $500, or $10 per member of the winning team, up to a maximum of 50 people. This price will be offered and discount coupon for Lafleur products and as a grocery gift card.

6. Special conditions relating the prizes:

6.1 Prizes must be accepted as described in these Rules. No modifications will be made to them by the organizers.

6.2 If a portion of a Prize is not used, no compensation will be awarded to the winner.

6.3 It is the winner’s responsibility to use the coupons before their expiration dates. If the coupons are not use before the prescribed date, they will not be replaced by the organizer and will not be honoured by grocers.

7. AWARDING OF PRIZES

7.1 In order to be declared a winner, the selected entrants must:

7.2 answer within three (3) days after the organizers have reached out via Facebook private messenger. Organizers will explain to the winner the terms and conditions for awarding the prize. Prizes will be shipped to the winners at the address given through private messenger. The Contest Organizer may, at their sole discretion, give the Prize winners a letter or other document stating the awarding of the prizes.

7.3 Failure to comply with one of the conditions mentioned in these Rules or to accept a prize, will result in the selected entrant being disqualified. In such event, the Contest Organizer may, in their sole discretion, cancel the prize or hold a re-draw until an entrant is selected and declared a winner in accordance with these Rules.

8. GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

8.1 Verification. Pictures and messages are subject to verification by the Contest Organizer. Any participation that is incomplete, blurry, unauthentic or fraudulent, registered or transmitted late, including false or incomplete invalid information, or is otherwise non-compliant, will be rejected and will not create an entitlement, as the case may be, to an Entry or a Prize.

8.2 Disqualification. The Contest Organizer reserves the right to disqualify a person or to cancel the Entry of a person who participates or tries to participate in this Contest using methods that do not comply with these Contest Rules or that are unfair to other entrants. Such a person may be reported to the appropriate legal authorities.

8.3 Conducting of the Contest. Any attempt to deliberately damage any Website related to the Contest or to sabotage the legitimate conducting of this Contest constitutes a violation of civil and criminal laws. Should there be any such attempts, the Contest Organizer reserves the right to reject the entrant’s Entry and obtain legal or equitable relief under applicable laws.

8.4 Acceptance of the prize. Prizes must be accepted as described in these Rules and may not, in whole or in part, be transferred to another person, substituted, or exchanged for cash, subject to paragraph 7.5.

8.5 Prize substitution. If it is impossible for the Contest Organizer to award a Prize as described in these Rules or if circumstances beyond the control of the Contest Organizer so require, the Contest Organizer reserve the right to award a prize of the same kind and of equivalent value or, at their absolute discretion, the monetary value of the Prizes described in these Rules.

8.6 Liability limit: use of the Prize. By entering the Contest, any entrant selected for the Prize releases and holds harmless the Contest Organizer, Facebook, Inc., and any company, corporation, trust or other legal entity controlled by or affiliated to them, their advertising and promotional agencies, their employees, representatives and agents (the “Released Parties”) from and against any damage resulting from the acceptance or use of the Prize.

8.7 Website. The Contest Organizer does not warrant that access to, or use of any website related to the Contest will not be uninterrupted or error-free during the Contest Period.

8.8 Liability limit: conduct of the Contest. The organizers will not and cannot be held responsible for (i) any incorrect, lost, damaged, late, incomplete, misdirected, deleted, defective or modified Entry, regardless of the cause, including a breakdown of the Website; (ii) any change of email or residential address after submission of the Contest Entry; (iii) the malfunction of any computer component, software, network or communication line; and the loss or absence of network communication or any transmission that is faulty, incomplete, incomprehensible or erased by any computer or network, regardless of the cause, and may limit or prevent the opportunity for any person to participate in the Contest. The organizers also disclaim any liability for any damage or loss that may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, by the downloading of any web page or any software or other, and the transmission of any information relating to the Contest participation.

8.9 Contest modification. The Contest Organizer reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this Contest, in whole or in part, should human intervention or an event take place that could alter or affect the administration, security, impartiality or conducting of the Contest as provided for in these Contest Rules.

8.10 Termination of Contest participation. In the event that the computer system cannot register all Contest Entries during the Contest Period for whatever reason, or if participation in the Contest must be terminated in whole or in part before the end of the Contest Period, Prizes that have not yet been awarded may be awarded by random draw from among the Entries duly registered during the Contest Period or up to the date of the event ending participation in the Contest.

8.11 Prize limit. In no event shall the Contest Organizer be required to award more prizes than indicated in these Contest Rules or to award a prize otherwise than in compliance with these Contest Rules.

8.12 Liability limit: Contest participation. Persons who enter or try to enter this Contest release the organizers from any liability for any damage these said persons may incur because of their Entry or their attempt to enter the Contest.

8.13 Authorization. By entering this Contest, the entrant selected for the Prize authorizes the Contest Organizer and their representatives to use, if required, his or her name, photo, likeness, voice, city/town of residence, and/or statement regarding the prize for advertising purposes, without any form of compensation.

8.14 Communication with entrants. No communication or correspondence related to this Contest shall be exchanged with entrants except as provided for in these Contest Rules or at the Contest Organizer’s initiative.

8.15 Personal information. Entrants’ personal information collected for the purpose of the Contest will only be used to administer the Contest. No commercial or other communications unrelated to the Contest will be sent to entrants unless they have otherwise consented to receive such communications.

8.16 Cookies. Entrants are informed that, when they access the Contest page, a cookie may be stored on their computer’s hard drive, as applicable. A cookie is a small computer file that allows the user’s navigation on the Website that is hosting the Contest to be recorded. Cookies are used to identify each entrant to allow them to access the information on the Website more quickly and to avoid the necessity of re-entering any data. Cookies cannot damage the data that is contained on the user’s computer and/or other digital device in any way. Entrants have the option of prohibiting the storing of the cookie, or of being informed whenever a cookie is stored on the user’s hard drive/in the memory of the user’s digital device, by configuring their browser software (the entrant is encouraged to consult the conditions of use for the browser in question with respect to this function). If such a configuration is used, the entrant will still be able to access the Website that is hosting the Contest and to enter the Contest.

8.17 Property. The Entries and Declaration Forms are the Contest Organizer’s property and shall not in any case be returned to entrants.

8.18 Intellectual property. The reproduction, representation or exploitation of all or part of the elements composing the Contest are strictly prohibited. All brands or names of products or services mentioned are trademarks or names of products or services and belong to their respective owners.

8.19 Entrant identification. For the purposes of these Rules, the entrant is the person whose name appears in the Facebook comment. The prize will be awarded to this person if selected and this person will be declared a winner.

8.20 Contest Organizer’s decisions. Any decision of the Contest Organizer or its representatives regarding this Contest is final and without appeal, subject to any decision of the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec (the “Régie”), in connection with any question within its jurisdiction.

8.21. Notice of winners’ names. Winners name will be announced directly on the Facebook post on Lafleur’s page once the contest is over.

8.22 Dispute. Any dispute as to the organization or conduct of a promotional contest may be submitted to the Régie for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of the prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.

8.23 Divisibility of paragraphs. This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and local/municipal laws and is void where prohibited by law. If a paragraph within these Rules is declared or deemed illegal, unenforceable, or invalid by a competent court, then this paragraph will be considered invalid, but all other paragraphs that are not affected will be applied within the limits permitted by law.

8.24 Language. In case of discrepancies between the French and English versions of these Rules, if a French version is available, the French version shall prevail.
