The 5 Festival Western de St-Tite personality types!
With over 50 years under its shiny, oversized belt, the Festival Western de St-Tite ranks as one of Quebec’s most popular events. Each year organizers offer a line-up of activities to suit every taste. And if you’re a regular, you’ll know what we are talking about when we list these 5 festival personality types:
This person has dreamt of going to the Festival for years. For the 52nd edition, he finally decided to take the plunge in cowboy country. He’s the one you’ll see carrying his Festival map with a look of awe on his face and stars in his eyes.
Because the dancer knows that THE place to fulfill his dreams is the Festival Western de St-Tite. As soon as he arrives he’s off to the Hydro-Québec Saloon. There he’ll remain, morning to night, taking every possible dance lesson and dance opportunity he can to music by the very best DJs. A clue on how to identify him: his boots are generally impeccable!
The rodeo fan
A diehard rodeo buff, he knows all the competitors and the names of all the animal athletes that perform at the rodeo. He gets into judging the races and rides and predicting who’ll be named grand champion. He never misses a rodeo and his seat is practically reserved in his name!
The party guy
Coors Town, the Cogeco Countrythèque and the SAQ Ranch are magnetic draws for him. The party guy takes his Festival Western partying seriously! He knows all the artists’ songs and brings his posse of friends with him every year.
