Ingredients

  • 1 package (375 g) Lafleur Pure Pork Sausage
  • 150 g pizza cheese mix
  • 250 g store-bought puff pastry
  • All-purpose flour
  • 1 egg, beaten with a small quantity of milk (glaze)

Preparation

  1. Cook sausages according to instructions on packaging, sponge off fat from sausages with paper towel and set aside. (Do not overcook.)
  2. Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C).
  3. Cut puff pastry into a square of the sausage length. Brush each paste square with glaze.
  4. Place equal amounts of cheese, diagonally, at the center of each square. Add one sausage on the cheese and close the paste on the sausage. Insert a toothpick so the paste does not open while cooking.
  5. Place on parchment paper covered baking sheet and brush each roll with glaze. Cook in oven until dough is browned.
  6. Use two sausages per serving and serve with your choice of vegetables or with a salad and dressing.
