Pasta à la carbonara

Kick your habitual carbonara up a notch with Lafleur bacon!

  • 8 slices Lafleur fully cooked bacon, cut in 4
  • 400 g pasta of your choice
  • 75 ml olive or vegetable oil
  • 100 ml white wine
  • 250 ml 35% cream
  • Salt and pepper, to taste


  1. 1.

    Cook pasta as per package directions (for “al dente” pasta, reduce cooking time by oneminute) and drain.

  2. 2.

    Pour wine in hot saucepan.

  3. 3.

    Bring wine to the boil, incorporate cream and bring back to the boil.

  4. 4.

    Add pasta to sauce.

  5. 5.

    Season and place in pasta serving bowl.

  6. 6.

    Reheat Lafleur fully cooked bacon in microwave oven for approximately five seconds perslice.

  7. 7.

    Top pasta with bacon slices and serve.
