Chocolate mousse with Bacon
A dessert combining the sweetness of chocolate and the unique flavour of Lafleur bacon: tough to resist!
- 150 ml chocolate chips
- 100 ml butter
- 100 ml 35% cream
- 100 ml cocoa powder
- 100 ml sugar
- Pinch of salt
- 2 slices Lafleur fully cooked bacon, cut in two
- Raspberries or other small fruit
- Fresh mint leaves, to taste
- Whipped cream, to taste
In double-boiler, melt chocolate with butter and cream.
Add cocoa, salt and sugar and mix until homogeneous.
Pour mix in ramekins and refrigerate for at least two hours.
Reheat Lafleur fully cooked bacon in microwave oven for approximately five seconds per slice.
Garnish each ramekin with whipped cream, to taste.
Top each ramekin with raspberries, mint leaves and half a slice of Lafleur fully cooked bacon and serve.
