Ham and cheese bites with dill

Ingredients

  • 8 slices of Lafleur Authentique Cooked Ham
  • 4 slices of crusty nut bread
  • 4 slices of Emmental cheese

Dijon sauce with dill

  • 65 mL (1/4 cup) of plain yogurt
  • 15 mL (1 tablespoon) of Dijon mustard
  • 15 mL (1 tablespoon) of fresh dill, finely chopped
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. 1.

    Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C).

  2. 2.

    Mix yogurt, mustard and dill in a bowl. Add salt and pepper and set aside.

  3. 3.

    Toast nut-bread slices lightly in the oven or toaster. Let cool, then spread with dill sauce.

  4. 4.

    Top each slice with 2 slices of ham.

  5. 5.

    Add a slice of Emmental cheese to each slice.

  6. 6.

    Cook in the oven until cheese melts.
